"Eye" Liked This Challenge

This week dgrin posed the challenge of "The Eyes Have It." As soon as I saw the new topic my mind started to run with it so I looked up "eye" in the dictionary. Several words popped up that I started to formulate ideas around but something was still missing. I had not found the wow factor yet. After brainstorming for a little longer, the idea of "keeping your eyes on it" started floating around in my head and it would gradually lead me to baseball. Not knowing exactly how an action shot would turn out, I started throwing out ideas of portraits to Tim and how I could fit baseball into the theme. As I got more and more excited my brain stopped working, I picked up the phone and called one of the CSU baseball players. What was I going to say? What was he going to say? Can I even do this? Too late to hang up the phone, I explained the idea to him and he loved it. We set up a time for the following week and then I got nauseas. Oh mercy! Here goes nothing!
Tim and I showed up to the baseball field after practice that day, got some odd looks from the other baseball players (most of which were directed at our subject, I am sure he will never live it down) and about 15 minutes later, my first portrait session with a real subject was complete.
I could barely wait to get home....although I critiqued myself the entire way home....the whole thing was like an out of body experience. Words were coming out, pictures were being taken, but I had no idea what was going on. Much to my surprise, the pictures turned out fantastic!!!
Remember, the theme of the challenge is "The Eyes Have It." So here are my choices:
